The Ten-Page Poetry Edit

Poets keep asking for feedback on poetry manuscripts. This is what we came up with:

· Send ten pages of poetry — a page defined as one poem, or 30 lines, if the poem is longer than one page.

· Give us ten days after receiving your package. An editor will give the poems a mindful reading
and return them marked with suggestions.

· She'll also write 500-700 words detailing where craft is working particularly well for you and where
it is not working so well.

She will tuck in two gifts: a tiny chapbook, the tongue-in-cheek "Why Poems Get Rejected," and a beautiful poetry
chapbook by a Leaf Press author. (Our choice ... depends upon what is left on the shelf when your request arrives.)

Please enclose a cheque or money order for $100 CAD made out to Leaf Press,
or email to ursulavaira@leafpress.ca or see the paypal link below.
