Fuse

a chapbook by Richard Arnold

An avid hiker and mountain biker, Richard Arnold gets inspiration from being out in nature, in wild places, among wild creatures.

Richard Arnold was born and raised in Alabama; he has a Ph.D. in English from the University of Alabama. He has lived on Vancouver Island since 1985 and now teaches English and Environmental Literature at Malaspina University-College in Nanaimo. He has published poetry, book reviews, and scholarly work in over forty journals and anthologies in Canada, the US, and Ireland. Fuse is his first collection.

"Arnold's love, respect and concern for wild things and places are evident. His poetry demands ... our acceptnce of responsibility for what is becoming of the natural world."       Bibliophiles
