Marie is currently studying Art History and is also hoping to throw a few pots. She is intrigued by the idea of expressing her Nordic sensibilities (she is originally from the Baltic) through the prism of the English language.

the sun's hunting low,
silvery, sequined,
shelving party-light
onto sills, rills, silken laps

and i'm keeping all
the sweetness
that never was

until the peacock fan of night,
blue, high-blown, jewelled

has me in its folds
